Have had a deep cut sandwich maker and a panini press in the past , both of which ended up at the charity shop. The first used to cut the sandwich but the filling would end up all over the place, the second toasted the outside but not the filling, both top of the range supposedly. The sage however, looks sleek and feels very solid. Heats up quickly with a ready light. Makes perfect toasties , my favourite is cheese and onion, cooks the onion to perfection. No mess, just a wipe over and put away. Neat storage for the wiring and doesn’t take up too much room. Thought a long time before purchasing as not the cheapest on the market but being a Sage product I knew I wasn’t likely to be disappointed. Worth every penny and a great product. Would highly recommend as I cannot think of any thing bad to say about it, it is not something to hide out of sight ! Quick tasty lunches are well and truly back on the menu in our house .

Bought this as we were disappointed with the results produced by our previous toasty makers. It has certainly lived up to expectations. It consistently produces a nice even browning on both slices of bread and filling is perfectly melted and cooked. It was a little more expensive purchase but the results are far superior. The moveable top plate sold it to us, it’s one of the reasons the browning and cooking results are always so good.

This is the second “The Perfect Press” that we have purchased, as we already have one in our holiday static holiday home. Ok, it’s described/sold as a sandwich toaster, but it’s much more. We also use it for quickly cooking burgers, steak, bacon, griddled eggs and much more. The none stick coating is exceptional as food just does not stick at all, and they are so easy to clean. Just a quick wipe down with paper towel and jobs done. Highly recommended.
