    A solid performer
I have been installing these for years. I like the knobs rather than touch controls and the very rapid heat up times of the elements.

    Great - not great
I have had my cook top about 5 weeks (2 of which I was away). The cook top is excellent heat wise but I find cleaning it to look like it did when I purchased is almost impossible. I sent away for the sample cleaning kit, I’ve also tried baking soda and vinegar. Both are meant to be brilliant but neither are perfect.. Unfortunately I struggle to get rid of the saucepan rim mark. Help would be appreciated as I am spending about 10 minutes a day trying to get the as new look.

    Questions & answers

I have a plugin electrical cooktop. It is an old Chef. It is a bit larger that 60 cm but I have bought an Electolux trim kit to fit 60cm. Can I still buy a plug-in cooktop? Julia · 2024-04-10
Hello Thank you for your product question. According to our website, the model you have inquired about requires hardwiring since it requires 6.5 kW (6500 watts) or 27 amps of electricity to operate. We recommend seeking the assistance of a professional electrician to connect the cooktop to your power supply. If there is not enough power available, your electrician may need to run a new power cord from the switchboard to the cooktop before completing the connection. Regarding the possibility of purchasing a plug-in cooktop, this will depend on the power supply available on your circuit. We suggest talking to your electrician as they may be able to attach a plug to a hardwired cooktop, depending on the wall socket and the cooktop power requirements. We have a Chef hotplate, 520 x 640 called Low Profile and a Chef Oven 720 x 590 including a griller above the oven. (included in the measurement. . What Chef models do you have that are identical in size and function, please Anonymous · 2023-09-01
Good Afternoon, Thank you for your inquiry about our products. Please note that Chef no longer produces under-bench ovens with separate grills. This aspect of production has been taken over by Westinghouse. The available option now is the model number WVE6555SD, which features an electric oven and an electric grill. Naturally, there will be variations in dimensions compared to previous models. You can find detailed information on our website. This information also applies to our cooktops. We recommend verifying the cutout dimensions and comparing them to the models available online. We hope this information is helpful to you. Is this ok to replace phn668U,iswff613 ok to replace wrh608iw Goldie · 2022-02-18
Good Afternoon, Thank you for this product question, if you want to replace the Westinghouse cooktop with the Chef brand this is ok as they are the same cutout, in regards to your rangehood best to have someone check both the heights of the body also the height of the slide-out facia panels as these are not a standard size, You still may have to do some sort of cupboard alteration as the cupboards were designed around your original items. I hope this information will assist you when shopping here with us at Appliances online. Colin Jones, Appliances Online
