With a generous capacity and intuitive features, it offers an efficient solution for managing a wide range of laundry needs, from daily clothing to bulkier household items.

Equipped with UV Sanitise technology, this washer provides an added layer of care by helping to reduce bacteria during the wash cycle. This makes it particularly suitable for items such as towels, bedding, and frequently worn garments that benefit from a deeper, more hygienic clean. The 10kg capacity allows larger loads to be washed in fewer cycles, saving time while improving overall efficiency.

The top load design ensures easy access for loading and unloading, offering a more comfortable laundry experience without the need to bend. A selection of wash programs allows users to tailor each cycle to different fabric types and soil levels, ensuring effective cleaning while maintaining garment quality.

Powered by Fisher & Paykel’s SmartDrive technology, the machine delivers quiet and efficient operation. This advanced system senses each load and adjusts performance accordingly, providing better fabric care while reducing noise and mechanical wear over time.

With its clean, modern aesthetic, the washer integrates seamlessly into a variety of laundry spaces. Combining performance, convenience, and hygiene-focused features, the Fisher & Paykel 10kg Series 5 Top Load Washing Machine is a practical and dependable choice for everyday laundry care.

    Easy to use

This machine has a cycle to suit every type of load, including Bulky, Extra Care and Wool. Meanwhile, the specialised UV Sanitise wash options helps kill bacteria for long-lastic fabric care.

    Soft-close lid

The robust glass lid ensures quality and durability. Its gentle close mechanism enhances family safety by preventing slamming, making it a reliable, durable, family-friendly choice.

    Back to the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been a F&P for my entire life I made the mistake of getting a front loader washing machine. It lasted just over a year, so have gone back to a company I can trust. This washing machine is so easy to operate including getting the washing in and out of the machine. Quiet and quick with the washing having that lovely fresh and clean smell. Highly recommend

    Great size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washing machine is great, apart from one thing…… without having an agitator,I find the machine tough on clothes. My last F&P machine, with an agitator, was much more gentler on clothes.

    Questions & answers

What is the maximum size/ weight of Doona this can wash please? Gaytea · 2026-04-08
Hello Thank you for this question. This machine has a 10kg capacity, which means it can wash larger items, but the specific size and weight of a doona (duvet) it can handle will depend on the fabric, as there are thin and thick doona covers available. If it's too tightly packed or unevenly loaded, it might affect the wash quality or strain the machine. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Appliances Online Colin Jones, Appliances Online
Can you add clothes after you have started a cycle> Willi · 2025-06-16
Hello there, you can =) Up to certain points and after them (generally just not during spin cycles), you can add things to the machine. Hopefully this helps! Cheers, Adam from Appliances Online. AdamD, Appliances Online
What the height with lid open please? I have a dryer mount on wall above it. Thank you John · 2024-08-21
Hi John, Fisher & Paykel has advised the height with the lid open is 1500-1520mm, depending on the height adjustments on the legs. Hopefully this helps =) Cheers, Adam from Appliances Online. AdamD, Appliances Online
