    I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN
    Firstly, my score has nothing to do with the quality of the product. We have had 3 Fisher and Paykel washing machines before. This one just does not suit me at all. Ease of use is fine if you just want to set and forget. If you want to manually control it at times, it is useless. I do a lot of hand washing for animal bedding, sometimes just hand rinsing. I am used to hand washing, spin for a minute to get soap out, hand rinse, then continue spinning. Some things I only want to spin for a couple of minutes then hang up in the sun. The spin cycle takes 18 mins, and spends half of that emptying the rinse water out, which is not there if I hand wash. There is no way to advance it. If you use the 'quick wash', you can't hold the spin, so I can't add things I might have soaking. If you have already set the water temp to cold, then select the 'quick wash' it sets it back to warm. These are only a few of the frustrations. I do not want the washing machine to think for me. If I had realized, I would never have bought this machine, but after 3 previous machines I assumed it would be similar. We had a different brand, excellent quality machine before the last Fisher and Paykel that did the same with the spin, and I ended up giving it away to an animal rescue after 6 months and buying another Fisher and Paykel. Unfortunately we are now retired and can't afford to do that, so I will have to put up with getting frustrated almost every day.

    Very happy with my new F&P Series 5, 8kg top loading washing machine. It’s extremely quiet, washes and spins the clothes really well. I absolutely recommend this machine.
