The sound quality is better than most of the clock radios I’ve had in the past 40 years but the setup process is nutty, confusing both my wife and I for about an hour and the lack of volume control is ridiculous. How did this get past usability checks? There are like ten or so volume ‘steps’ that you can choose from to set your alarm volume and steps 2-10 are too loud for a bedside radio. And once the radio alarm goes off, you can’t adjust the volume either. It beggars belief that this kind of usability flaw can happen in the 21st century but alas they are rife in modern technology. To top off usability design nonsense, this review text field didn’t allow me to scroll back and forward through the text I just wrote (on an IPhone). The electronic tech industry needs to start sacking poor designers. Grr.
