I bought this headphones because I wanted a better noise cancelling headphones for travelling. I owned a pair of mdr-nc7 and they were great (up to 88%) so I thought zx750bn would be even better since it cancels up to 98% of the noise. Unfortunately, it makes little difference, if not worse, than the mdr-nc7. I tried it on buses and trains and the background noise could be heard pretty clearly still. The sound quality was acceptable but not great. The bass was the weakest out of all the Sony headphones and earphones I owned (MDR-EX50LP and MDR-NC7). This was rather disappointing as zx750bn costs a lot more than mdr-nc7. On the plus side, the wireless feature was great. The NFC works fantastically, all you need is a quick touch of your phone on the headphones to connect them.

Bought last week, for the price these are fantastic at blocking out the sound of London Traffic and Tube trains - so fantastic as a commuter. Work perfectly with my Iphone 5 & Sony Tablet. Please note which products they are compatible with. They will not currently link with my Sony W series Bravia via NFC - Which is annoying. They will pair with my PS4, But then the PS4 cannot register them. I have had to use the wire link that comes with the headphones, and connect them to the PS4 Controller, in order to get PS4 sounds to the head phones. I Got them to link via Blutooth to my Sony VAIO - but couldnt get the sound to then come out of them.. Not sure if this is the same compatibility issue as the PS4.. All in all, im really impressed, as main reason was comfortable cans, with noise cancelling that sound great - and they do this well! Just dropped a star due to no NFC with Bravia and PS4 registration.
