I have never purchased a "reconditioned" appliance before, however I didn't want to waste money on an inexpensive blender. I wanted a good one with power but I didn't like the price tags. Taking a chance, I bought the Certified Reconditioned S30 model in my favorite color, red. I am SO happy I did as I now have the best of both worlds. It works like a champ, looks great on the counter, and saved me many dollars. Now that I'm enjoying smoothies and sauces, if I ever want to purchase an even larger blender, I know that I'll be back to Vitamix (and probably another reconditioned one!). Thank you!!!

I liked the idea of a smaller profile machine to process single serving portions so I purchased the S Model. Smoothies did not fully blend, i.e. small pieces of ice and fruit would be left in the mix. Upon further research I found out that the S Series has a smaller motor. Vitamix claims that you can achieve the same results as the larger machines by simply increasing the run time. I did not find this to be the case. I returned the unit and purchased a C Series, Model VM0103. The unit has performed great so far!! The Classic series still allows the processing of smaller batches. Note: The newer G Series, although smaller in height has a wider base and requires larger amounts for processing.

I purchased this for Christmas to replace my Bullet. I was told it had so much more power and would be long lasting. Only had it 4 months but don't use it much as it takes me twice as long to make my smoothies than it did before. The individual cups I purchased with the blender is shaped in a fashion you must only fill 3/4 to have it blend and the results are again less than the Bullet. Its more quiet and durable however I am highly disappointed.
